Friday Spirit Days—It is a Blair Oaks tradition to wear Green and White on Fridays!  We also hold Friday hat days. Students can donate a dollar and can wear a hat for the day.  Donations are used for student activities or are donated to various charities.

BMS Spirit Stick—This tradition started in 2009. We wanted to recognize our our top students in academics, band, sports, plays and anything that needed applauded loudly. We have these groups run in the halls as the whole school cheers them on. This stick has ribbons with all of these honors proudly displayed. 

BMS Cheerleaders—Our BMS cheerleaders are a great addition to our ballgames, and they love it when the crowd cheers along with them.  They cheer at all home games for the boys and girls, 7th and 8th grade basketball. Our cheerleaders bring school spirit, a positive attitude, and encouraging words everywhere they go. Come to a game and cheer along with us!             

BHS Football Games—We have a BMS cheering section at home games.  We are the far end of the bleachers away from the concession stand.  Come join us and show your spirit!

BMS Volleyball, Wrestling and Basketball—The BMS student cheering section is located in the last section of the bleachers on the right side of the gym from when you walk in the front doors. We reserve a section for our student fans, but you still need to arrive early to get a seat.  Most of our middle school events are packed!

BMS Clubs— Our BMS Clubs set up concession stands at our home events. We appreciate our customers who help support our student activities through their purchases! 

BMS Pep Band—Very few middle schools have a pep band! Our pep band rocks the house.  They play our school fight song and other songs that really get the crowd going!

Winterfest—Each year during wrestling and basketball season we hold our annual Winterfest week.  The entire school participates in spirit days.  The week wraps up with an assembly, a ballgame, and a dance.

MAP Mania Week—The week before MAP is an exciting one here at BMS.  Not only are we cramming last minute pieces of information into our brains, but we are also pumping our adrenaline for the state tests.  Each year we pick a theme and select spirit days to go along with the theme.  We are “in it to win it!"
