Pursuant to Section 161.1050m RSMo, DESE established the "Trauma-Informed Schools Initiative". This initiative provides for training in school districts regarding the trauma-informed approach and how schools can become trauma-informed schools, as well as a website about the trauma-informed schools initiative which includes information for both schools and parents.
