Mrs. Bishop, Blair Oaks Elementary Principal, has been selected as this year’s Central Region Distinguished Principal for the state of Missouri through MAESP.
The Distinguished Principal Award is grounded in the three founding principles of NAESP: commitment to excellence in school leadership, dedication to the well-being and growth of students, and the cultivation of strong, supportive school communities. Tara’s work embodies each of these pillars with depth and authenticity. This honor reflects not only the outstanding work happening in her building, but also the dedication she brings to her students, staff, and school community every single day.
She will be formally recognized and celebrated at the MAESP Conference in March, where this honor will be awarded in front of colleagues and leaders from across the state. As part of this recognition, Mrs. Bishop will move forward as a state qualifier with the opportunity to represent Missouri at the national level as well.
Please join me in congratulating Tara on this incredible achievement and well-deserved honor. Congratulations, Mrs. Bishop!
