No Cell Phones

Dear Blair Oaks Families,

The Missouri General Assembly recently enacted Senate Bill 68, which introduces new statewide requirements regarding the use of personal electronic devices, such as cell phones, smart watches, tablets, and similar technology, by students during the school day.

Starting with the 2025–2026 school year, all public schools across Missouri must prohibit student use of personal devices not only during instructional time, but also during non-instructional periods such as lunch, hallway transitions, and other breaks throughout the day.

To comply with state law, Blair Oaks students will not be allowed to use personal electronic devices at any point during the school day, including during lunch and between classes.

We recognize that staying connected with your child during the day can be important. Please know that our building offices will continue to assist with communication when needed, and staff are always available to support students in emergency situations.
